Really, what else do I need to say?

See the young bloke at the bottom - that's me!

Perfect.

Suburbia, where you can beat your wife just as long as you project a successful image.

So that's the High School Quarterback marries the Prom Queen, book burning PTA, utopia of the Palin.

(She'd beat her husband though.)

She is such a nutbag, I wouldn't be surprised if she used this

Stupid bastards are looking in the wrong direction, can't you see all those nasty red/black clouds behind them?

Satan is letting Jesus distract them with some fancy light show and then drag them down to the pits of hell when they least expect it!

Why?

Bunch of sinners!

For one thing they are wearing more than two type of wool, that is FORBIDDEN!

That little girl is worshipping a false god - look at what she has in her hands, that's obviously something to do with voodoo!

Look at that woman's hands - do you see a marriage ring anywhere? Its plainly obvious that they had sex outside of marriage - bad, sinful, naughty them having bastard kids.

So the sins of the Father shall be visited on the kids, so they are screwed even if that little girl was not dabbling in the occult with that doll of hers - I reckon its his fault, devious little bugger, you can see it in his eyes, plus that tie is positively dreadful!

Yes, they are off to hell for sure, this is what you get for voting McCain and Palin! :)

Philip -

*laughs* I pity the fool who gets into an argument with you about christianity. You have a scary knowledge of the bible.

You are completely right about the wedding ring! I never noticed that. For shame.

It's funny to me that when we look at a picture like this, we see sad little sheeple, but when the religious see this picture it fills them with warm fuzzies.

You are too kind, if you want someone really talented at it, Billy is the best Holy Libel quoter I know of, he knows way more stories than I do. I am fascinated the way you could be talking about health issues and then have him quote something about being able to cure poison with bird vomit or something equally stupid.

I had a funny thought about this picture - what if this family, standing there, credulously rapture ready, eager to not get sent to eternal torment by Jesus on his fiery chariot, suddenly realises they got the religion wrong.

Instead of Armageddon they are confronted with Ragnorok, the Norse big end of world scrap!

Not so smiley now are we? Huh?

I don't fancy their chances in the battle - perhaps the old chap's bloody awful tie and his daughter's doll could be used as offensive weapons but really, they are ill equipped to deal with the armies of darkness and would not be worth a mention in the Poetic Edda!

:)

I was going to mention Billy's amazing knowledge. It's definitely a wonder, but I don't want to take away from my cheerleading for you. (I'll suck up to him later. ;)

Don't sell yourself short. I know that you were not indoctrinated into christianity as a child and you took it upon yourself to fully investigate the history of the bible, etc. I think that is something worth mentioning because I know I am far too lazy to do such a thing myself.

As a result, I think praise is in order. I am ever so glad there are people like you and Billy (and others) that I can learn these things from. It's much less taxing for lazy ol' me. ;)

Philip,

Can I echo the comments of Our Empress here? Don't sell yourself short, man! ("He that tooteth not his own horn, that same shall not be tooteth" and all that...)

Now, it would ill behove me to get into all the ramifications of 'horns' I've just alluded too, but keep drinking the tea and posting on your blog, Sir!

If you have been, I'm most awfully glad...

Sharon, Mark

As the dear Don himself, Professor Trefusis, would say "Hugely so to you all!"

I wouldn't dream of selling myself short, I am 6ft tall after all! :)

My Bible knowledge is growing albeit very very slowly, I was simply recommending Billy for the really cool ones he knows so well, never thought I sounded down on myself. As if that is going to happen!

I still thank you very much for the support, may Quetz bless thy Tea for ever more!

"And if you have been, then it was"

??? That one went over my head and into the next field

I have always found those sign offs to be highly filled with innuendo - "Hugely so to you all" with a finish with "If you have been, then it was" to me is reference to "something" being huge.

I could be hideously wrong but after reading a lot of Stephen Fry's work, I think I can make a good guess as to what he is referring to

Hows that?

Mark_W said...

Philip,

Indeed.

If you have been, do stop it now, people are staring...

Am still waiting for the umpire's decision as to whether it was caught at silly point! :)

Anyways,

Back to topic....

Why do people still insist on voting for McCain and Palin, especially after recent events concerning video tapes of guarding against witch craft and stories about how McCain was and still is an irracible egotistical old man who couldn't President his way out of a paper bag?

Just what do they have to do before people wake up and realise that there is more than enough evidence showing those two are completely unfit for office?

Tis a mad world my masters! :)

Philip-

"Why do people still insist on voting for McCain and Palin, especially after recent events..".

Because religion isn't the only bullshit people greedily swallow.

And people don't like to be called on their bullshit.
so they pile more bullshit on to justify the original bullshit.

Ideologues don't do the whole "wrong", thing.
Not in their vocabulary.

Philip said...

Damn Diacanu

That's a heck of a lot of bullshit isn't it! :)

No wonder global warming is a problem, damn religion and bollocks ideology!

Sharon - more, please, and pronto!

(Come on [he says in his most wheedling, Uriah Heep voice], I need another fix of what my little girl used to call "Canadia".)
